This ‘Estacade’ is a seawall built on stakes, in a river or a sea channel. This 189 metres long wooden jetty runs into the Atlantic Ocean. It is accessible from the Esplanade de la Liberté of Cap Breton. It offers an excellent viewpoint to see the boats sail by, and when the sun sets you can admire its golden glints. With windy weather, the waves bring an epic dimension to the jetty.
